The Actors Union joined the nation-wide Workers General Mobilization called by the two main Trade Unions on Saturday 12/12/2009 in Madrid. More than 50.000 people from all over Spain marched through the center of the city. At 12 o’clock, on December 12th, actresses Asunción Balaguer and Pilar Bardem read the 12 points of a manifesto claming for measures that will ensure working rights and create new jobs, instead of decreasing wages, cutting on social security and other economic measures proposed by companies and banks. More than 50.000 people marched through the center of the city.
