The Madrid Actors’ Union supports the international call for the World Day for Decent Work- Get the World to Work, organised by the International Trade Union Confederation on Wednesday October 7, 2009.
Actors and actresses are being strongly affected by the non-fulfilment of the agreed minimum working conditions on behalf of the production companies, who justify every illegal action by hiding behind the word crisis. Meanwhile it is the workers who suffer the consequences of such crisis.
We will join the mass metting which will be held at 11:30 on Wednesday morning in front of the Reina Sofía Museum, in Madrid.
